Residents are treated to daily hair styling because every day is important. And every week, residents have the option to have their nails done.
Each resident is given their own make up bag, and our primped up almost daily to make each day special.
Residents can play with dolls and occasionally, a therapy dog will visit to liven up the environment.
Old photos of the residents and their families are displayed in the homes. We feel that the houses should represent the people who live there. When you visit, you will feel like you are visiting Grandma's house.

Residents receive a personalized activity plan (individual and group activities). Two national certified activity professionals are on staff to oversee and organize appropriate activities for residents.
The Almost Home Group believes that constant activities promote the ongoing physical wellness, mental health, and happiness of our residents. We like to keep our residents active and engaged. Activities includes, daily hair styling, manicured nails (once a week), home cooked meals, individual and group activities, field trips (e.g. farmers market, Wal-Mart, excursions to Thom-A-lex lake, neighborhood park walks, fall leaf-looking, Christmas lights and tree decoration promenades).
